Zen-Wus Extra Durable Coarse Diamond Stone is perfect for tool repairs, flattening water stones, and lapping the sole of your hand planes. Removal is super fast, making it a dream compared to other sharpening systems.

It features a 200 grit diamond matrix that is incredibly durable and flat with a tolerance of 12m (< 0.5 thou). The stone is seated in an aluminum base that is available in both gold and black plating.

This stone is a must-have in my shop for flattening and lapping plane soles. Removal of material is SO fast compared to others that Ive used.

Zen-Wu has a way of engineering themselves out of repeat sales with these heirloom quality tools. They heat treat the aluminum multiple times to remove any stresses so it will stay flat for life. They are so durable, you may never need to buy a flattening stone again.
